Washington, D.C. features an extensive public transit system centered around the subway system (“the Metro”) consisting of six lines (Red, Blue, Orange, Silver, Green, and Yellow) that connect the city and surrounding suburbs in Maryland and Virginia. Fares are calculated by how many stops you travel and at what time of day. For payment information, view this webpage. The Metrobus system operates with a flat fare of $2.25 per trip for regular routes. Bus fares provide unlimited transfers within a two-hour window. Download the WMATA app for real-time train arrival information and trip planning.

The Washington Hilton is a 10-minute walk from the Dupont Circle Metro station on the Red Line. From Washington National Airport (DCA), the most convenient option is to take the Yellow Line to Gallery Place and then switch to the Red Line, which you can take to Dupont Circle. From Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), you can take the Silver Line to Metro Center and switch to the Red Line to Dupont Circle. From Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI), take the Amtrak to Union Station in D.C. and then the Red Line from Union Station to Dupont Circle. The Washington Hilton is also served by several bus routes with stops located within walking distance of the hotel on Connecticut Avenue and nearby streets.

The Hilton parking lot (with access to hotel) is located under the hotel at 1920 19th St NW, Washington, DC 20009. Overnight parking rates include a 50% discount for all overnight guests. As of January 2025 the parking rate was $56.

Alternatively, the Universal North parking lot is at 2012 T street with easy access to the T Street entrance of the Hilton. This lot doesn’t allow for overnight parking. As of January 2025, full day rate is $16 with an early bird rate is $13 (before 8:30 am).

Check-in time is 4:00pm and check-out is 11:00am. If you are a guest in the hotel the bellman will be able to hold your bags until check-in or after check-out.

Rooms do not have refrigerators in them, but a refrigerator can be requested. Because there are limited quantities it is recommended you call the hotel 1-2 weeks before your stay to make your request.

Bookings in the ASEEES room block include free cancellation up through two calendar days before arrival. A late cancellation fee will be charged if cancelling the day before, or the day of check-in. Allow 3-5 business days for a refund to fully process.

At check-in a $100 per night deposit will be held for incidentals during your stay. Please contact the hotel reservations staff for a receipt of this deposit.
