The American Bibliography of Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies (ABSEEES Online) hosted by EBSCO, provides information on Russia, Eastern Europe, and Eurasia, with a vast collection of indexed sources published in the United States, Canada, and some European countries. It contains detailed bibliographic records for journal articles, book reviews, online resources, books, book chapters, dissertations, and selected government publications. Content is updated on a quarterly basis. Well over 100 core journals in Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies are indexed by ABSEEES.

Working in collaboration with the Slavic Reference Service (SRS), ASEEES is delighted to unveil a revamped and revived American Bibliography of Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies (ABSEEES). Previously based at the University of Illinois Library, this world-renowned indexing service and resource now includes an ā€œEā€ for Eurasia.


Accessing ABSEEES

The ASEEES regular and student members can now access ABSEEES on EBSCO through the ASEEES Members Site (member login required). If your institution already provides access to this database, it is important that you use ABSEEES through your institution so that ABSEEES remains sustainable.
