Wayne S. Vucinich Book Prize
The Wayne S. Vucinich Book Prize is awarded annually for the most important contribution to Russian, Eurasian, and East European studies in any discipline of the humanities or social sciences published in English in the United States in the previous calendar year.Read more
Barbara Jelavich Book Prize
The Barbara Jelavich Book Prize is awarded annually for a distinguished monograph published on any aspect of Southeast European or Habsburg studies since 1600, or nineteenth- and twentieth-century Ottoman or Russian diplomatic history in the previous calendar year.Read more
Davis Center Book Prize in Political and Social Studies
The Davis Center Book Prize in Political and Social Studies is awarded annually for an outstanding monograph published on Russia, Eurasia, or Eastern Europe in anthropology, political science, sociology, or geography in the previous calendar year.Read more
Ed A Hewett Book Prize
The Ed A Hewett Book Prize is awarded annually for an outstanding monograph on the political economy of Russia, Eurasia and/or Eastern Europe, published in the previous year.Read more
Kulczycki Book Prize in Polish Studies

Marshall D. Shulman Book Prize
The Marshall D. Shulman Book Prize is awarded annually for an outstanding monograph dealing with the international relations, foreign policy, or foreign-policy decision-making of any of the states of the former Soviet Union or Eastern Europe published the previous year.Read more

The W. Bruce Lincoln Book Prize is awarded annually for an author's first published monograph or scholarly synthesis that is of exceptional merit and lasting significance for the understanding of Russia's past.Read more
Weiser Center for Europe and Eurasia Article Prize
The Weiser Center for Europe and Eurasia Article Prize, established in 2024 and sponsored by the Weiser Center for Europe and Eurasia (WCEE) at the University of Michigan, is awarded annually for an outstanding English-language research article in the social sciences by a junior scholar published in a peer-reviewed journal.Read more
Robert C. Tucker/Stephen F. Cohen Dissertation Prize
The Robert C. Tucker/Stephen F. Cohen Dissertation PrizeĀ is awarded annually for an outstanding English-language doctoral dissertation in Soviet or Post-Soviet politics and history in the tradition practiced by Robert C. Tucker and Stephen F. Cohen. The dissertation must be defended at an American or Canadian university.Read more
