Annual Convention

The ASEEES Annual Convention is the world’s largest gathering of Slavic, East European, and Eurasian scholars from around the world and regularly attracts over 2800 attendees.

One of the core activities of the Association is the Annual Convention. Held in the fall, the convention takes place each year in a different city in North America. This international forum makes possible a broad exchange of information and ideas, stimulating further work and sustaining the intellectual vitality of the field.

The 2024 ASEEES Annual Convention will feature Virtual and In-Person panels, roundtables, film screenings (in-person only), plenaries, and exhibitors (in-person only).  This split-format will allow for many who cannot attend in-person to still participate during the virtual components of the Convention.
