Convention Health and Safety Policy
Health and safety
Our members’ health and safety remain our central concern at our Annual Convention in Boston. ASEEES staff and leadership continue to carefully monitor public health guidelines, as well as epidemiological conditions before and during the Convention. While COVID vaccinations are not mandatory, we strongly recommend that people who plan to attend in-person be fully vaccinated prior to travel. We welcome and encourage the use of face masks, if you so choose.
Should additional on-site protocols be needed, we will work with the hotel to ensure precautions are put in place, including, but not limited to, space planning, food and beverage service, and hand-sanitizing stations. On-site health and safety protocols will follow national and local authorities’ guidance and are subject to change.
We’re looking forward to a healthy, safe, and informative gathering in Boston!
Please DO NOT attend the convention if either of the following is true:
You test positive for COVID-19;
You are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g., a fever of 100.4F or higher, cough, shortness of breath, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, extreme fatigue, or other symptoms associated with COVID-19 as identified by the CDC).
