ASEEES Announces First Book Subvention Recipients Spring 2016

The Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies is delighted to announce the recipients of the first book subvention grants for spring 2016.

Central European University Press for “Between Nation and Empire: Russian and Romanian Competing Visions of Bessarabia in the Second Half of the 19th and Early 20th Century” by Andrei Cusco (State University of Moldova)

Indiana University Press for “Health and Wealth on the Bosnian Market: Intimate Debt” by Larisa Jasarevic (University of Chicago)

University of North Carolina Press for “The Struggle to Save the Soviet Economy: Mikhail Gorbachev and the Collapse of the Soviet Union” by Chris Miller (Yale U)
