Planned Giving

Establish a lasting legacy with the Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies!

Join the ASEEES Legacy Society

The Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies (ASEEES) is committed to advancing research, education, and dialogue within Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies. As you consider ways to support this important work, we invite you to become a part of our Legacy Society through a planned gift.

The ASEEES Legacy Society honors those who make plans – or have already made plans – to support ASEEES with a bequest through their will or estate planning. Membership in the Legacy Society is open to anyone who documents their intention to make a future gift, regardless of the size of the gift or estate. There is no minimum donation required.

Benefits of Joining the Legacy Society
  • Impact: Support the future of ASEEES without impacting your current need
  • Community: Connect with other dedicated members who share your commitment to the field
  • Recognition: Your name will appear on the ASEEES website, in ASEEES communications, and in the program at the Annual Convention
Types of Planned Gifts

There are many ways to leave a lasting legacy at ASEEES:

  • Bequests: Name ASEEES in your will or living trust as a revocable recipient of a specific amount or percentage of your estate.
  • Retirement Plans: Designate ASEEES as a revocable beneficiary of your IRA, 401(k), or other qualified retirement accounts.
  • Life Insurance: List ASEEES as a revocable beneficiary of your life insurance policies.

All estate planning options will be considered, subject to the ASEEES gift acceptance policy
