NewsNet Submission Guidelines

NewsNet invites ASEEES members to submit pitches for articles along with member news and announcements.

NewsNet publishes public-facing original essays of 2,500-3,000 words on contemporary issues or matters of broad professional interest to the Association’s membership. We especially encourage submissions on underrepresented areas of scholarship and pedagogy as well as reflections on the (possible) future(s) of the SEEES field. Please keep in mind that NewsNet is not a venue for extensive research essays.

For more information about NewsNet, read “The ASEEES Communications Advisory Committee: Bringing the Association’s Communications Platforms into a New Era” which appeared in the August 2009 issue.

Submit an article!

We heartily encourage members—including graduate students—who are interested in proposing a NewsNet cover article to send abstracts of no more than 300 words, including ideas for visual illustrations, to [email protected].
