Be Aware of Phishing/Scam Email from “ASEES President” or “Slavic Review Editor”

Please be aware that you may receive a phishing/scam email from “ASEES President” or “Slavic Review editor,” especially if you serve on the ASEEES Board or a committee. Please do not respond! We would never ask you for money or gift cards sent to the President or Slavic Review editor for some emergency. Always check the sender’s email address. Feel free to report the scam email to your institution’s spam report center. 

Such scam emails happen not so infrequently and unfortunately we have no way of stopping it. And rest assured that ASEEES emails or database is not hacked.
