Summer Russian and Ukrainian Language Study through Harvard University
June 20
Students are able to take courses remotely this summer and won’t have to incur the added costs of travel, room and board, and other expenses.
For students at the advanced level, Harvard is offering our course on Russian Media and Popular Culture. For students just getting started in Russian, Harvard offers an introductory course, Intensive Elementary Russian.
Drawing on the programming for the annual summer institute of the Harvard Ukrainian Research Institute (https://huri.harvard.edu/), Harvard is offering two courses in Ukrainian language. There is a regular intensive four-skills course, Intensive Elementary Ukrainian, offered online as well as an in-person course geared towards those who may already know or be fluent in another Slavic language who require Ukrainian primarily for reading knowledge and research (Note: UKRN S-G is offered in person on the Harvard Campus in Cambridge, MA; all other courses are offered online over Zoom).
