Gabrielle Cornish, Theodora Dragostinova, and Nataliia Laas Awarded ACLS Fellowships

The ACLS Fellowship program supports outstanding scholarship in the humanities and interpretive social sciences.

Gabrielle Cornish was awarded for her project, “Sounding Socialist, Sounding Modern: Music, Technology, and Everyday Life in the Soviet Union, 1956-1975.

Theodora Dragostinova was awarded for her project, “Between Two Motherlands: Struggles for Nationhood among the Greeks in Bulgaria, 1906-1949.”

Nataliia Laas was awarded for her project, “A Soviet Consumer Republic: Environmental Citizenship and the Economy of Waste in the Post-WWII Soviet Union.”
