ASEEES Affiliates
The Association's seven regional affiliates cover different geographic areas of the United States and sponsor scholarly meetings and activities within their respective regions. Each of these groups has a representative on the Council of Regional Affiliates, whose members serve in rotation on the ASEEES Board of Directors.
In addition, the ASEEES has organizational ties with thirty-two scholarly societies that have specialized interests within the broad field of Slavic and post-Soviet studies. These ASEEES Affiliate Institutions are concerned with particular topics, areas, or peoples within the field. ASEEES Institutional Members
Institutions with programs or interests in Slavic studies are eligible to become institutional members of the ASEEES. Approximately fifty institutions across the country demonstrate their support of the field by membership in the Association.
